£250 spent at Ladbrokes? No love: credit card fraud.

Lately I've realised that my life consists of no discussion topics. Maybe a few discussed by friends but because most of my debates revolve around college thus law, politics, history etc... none of them are really possible blog material. So I may as well discuss my latest pinch of bad luck..

Yes ladies and gentlemen, I've now been a victim of credit card fraud!!

It's absurd really. It's not like I've had a job for long, let alone more than £500 in my account thus why would they pick me? Nonetheless, I found that I was being told that apparently late night Saturday I had spent £250 at Ladbrokes. Oh yes, no place else. LADBROKES! Considering I'd just gotten paid my £400, I thought it was quite insulting. This though means that I now cannot use my account for 7 working days thus my valentines plans are ... fucked. It's not the end of the world because I can borrow the money from my mum but still, I find it quite intrusive that she'll know how and what I'll be spending my wages on whilst in London with my boyfriend. I mean it's not like we'll be doing anything bad i.e. a swingers club, but what if we wanted to? She wouldn't want that on her account. It's just frustrating. Also the fact that the bank can't send me the new card in half the time at special request.

Apparently, the fraudster had also tried to use my card the next day for £5.60 the next day. I mean SUCH a small amount... why? At least the bank were observant enough to notice in just two days although I know I helped them by trying to use my card for £60 last night for Dylan Moran tickets. WHICH I GOT ANYWAY, wooo :)

I find it quite ironic however that this happens to me after such a short period of time. Apparently the fact that we're using Internet Explorer as a Browser isn't helping but then it links back to the original issue of Johan being a stubborn shit and not willing to hcange his old ways even when he knows there are better alternatives. The more you ask him, the less likely he is to do it. I'll try to do so tonight any way; tell him about the fraud but I doubt it'll help whatsoever. I mean he's too angry to be communicative tonight. Me and mum did too much work around the house that he should've done but we didn't rely on him therefore he's automatically in a foul mood.

None the less, just to put this warning out there yet again: Credit card fraud can actually happen to you. You may think you're invincible but it's not just where you shop online, House of Fraser official site in my case, but the internet browser you use, possibly much more important. Triple check, many of the secure bank online checks aren't genuine. Watch out! You don't want 2/3s out of your hard earned weekend salary taken out of your account at once.

Great customer service, my arse.

Just felt like posting a complaint about the 'best online shopping company' ASOS. I won't deny the fact that within the past two months, I have been made to think twice about ordering from this website. The order really isn't worth the hassle. Inevitably, they do some things right however, their customer service is delayed and will not solve your order unless you threaten with a law suit, they can't solve anything in due time and in the end, they will only give you a refund. Which in my case is ridiculous because my order was a right deal which can't be replicated. Also, the stress and ordeal I went through to just get these £25 back. They should have compensated me in one way or another, with an off percentage or waiting until by bag is back in stock. No customer friendliness as would be expected when they have in fact screwed up my routine for the past month or so. ASOS pride themselves on their brilliant services however this would make me disagree, I don't see what the problem is as it doesn't lie with Royal Mail, the courier in this case. My only hope is for my order to arrive in a few months time and it has been lost somewhere however the chances here are very unlikely... No shopping with ASOS for quite some time now. This has definitely lowered my trust in internet shopping yet again when such a well known website makes such a crucial mistake and then will not help deal with the situation before 6 or 7 emails have been formulaed. Oh and also, any available contact telephone number? Of course not!!

Th highlights of my teenage years..

This picture displays the best time of my life on a Friday night, supposedly, yet I'm spending it reading a book with Quality Streets & a teddy. In my fluffy PJ's & UGG slippers. Of course, this is after I've done a few hours of homework & spent the majority of the evening spring cleaning my bed room on my own, YET AGAIN.

I'm feeling a little melancholic maybe but I think I'm starting to have my depression problem again and I've just noticed too late. My teachers are noticing too, which isn't good. This is too much like last year. There is so much I need to change in my life. I need to stand up for myself and say that I should be treated like a princess and no less. That there shouldn't be double standards where I'd not sleep just to get what I need yet you're too lazy and I suffer as a result. We suffer as a result. That's my main problem right now, the surroundings just aren't helping. I need you to start being rational, I just don't know how I can achieve that with you because you're not willing to change as far as I see.
